This safari is offered year round and features the most famous parks in Tanzania. From December to April you can enjoy the calving season, wherein the wildebeest complete their annual migration and head back to the rich grass plans of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania to give birth.

Day 1Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha.

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), after clearing immigration and customs formalities you are met by our Tribal Travel Safari driver who will transfer you to your Hotel located a short distance from Arusha town for overnight. On the way you will be able view banana, coffee and maize plantations, if its day time.

Day 2Arusha – Manyara National Park.

After breakfast with safari briefing, there is a game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park passing through the Maasai Steppe filled with many attractive African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. At the park you have a chance to stretch your legs. Game view in the Park and enjoy picnic lunch with view of the Lake. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.

Leave Manyara behind with picnic lunch, the journey continues North West across stunning hilly countryside of Karatu and the highlands which is filled with banana plantations and then into Ngorongoro Crater. Here you will be able to to explore what is commonly referred to as World’s Largest Wildlife Zoo. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, Crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forests, Swamps, Lakes and springs, to open Grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small Lake populated with Hippos. From here you will leave Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park for overnight.
Day 4Serengeti National Park.

Morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park, Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5Serengeti National Park – Karatu.

Game en route with a picnic lunch in Serengeti National to Karatu District, for overnight.

Day 6Karatu – Arusha.

Departing Karatu after breakfast and drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for hot local lunch (if you prefer). After lunch Tribal Travel Safari will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
