This safari is offered year round and features the most famous parks in Tanzania. From December to April you can enjoy the calving season, wherein the wildebeest complete their annual migration and head back to the rich grass plans of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania to give birth.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha.
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), after clearing immigration and customs formalities you are met by our Tribal Travel Safari driver who will transfer you to your Hotel located a short distance from Arusha town for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Arusha-Manyara National Park
After breakfast, there is a game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park. At the park you have a chance to stretch your legs. Game view in the Park and enjoy picnic lunch with view of the Lake. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park.
Depart to Serengeti National Park after breakfast, then arriving at the lodge for lunch. After some times to relax and enjoy the lodge’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you have morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park with meals and overnight.
Day 5 – Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater.
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is commonly referred to as World’s Largest Wildlife Zoo. After breakfast, you descend with picnic lunch through the early morning mists and 2000 feet into the Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, Crater floor is comprised of several distincts areas, ranging from forests, Swamps, Lakes and springs, to open Grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. A picnic lunch is several overlooking a small Lake populated with Hippos. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park.
Departing Ngorongoro after breakfast, and head south east en route to Lake Manyara, Mto wa mbu village and Tarangire beyond. Through the highlands and Karatu district, you will view banana plantation and rice field, here before journeying down the spectaculars escarpment where you turn south on the main Arusha to Dodoma road and into the park for game drive and picnic lunch. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7Tarangire National Park – Arusha.
Departing Tarangire after breakfast and drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for hot local lunch (if you prefer). After lunch Tribal Travel Safari will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for departure to Zanzibar for seven days beach tour
Day 7 – Arusha – Zanzibar.
Fly from Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport to Zanzibar (ZNZ). Tribal Travel Safari will transfer you to your hotel for diner and overnight.
Day 8 & 9 – Stone Town Tour.
Day 10 , 11 , 12 & 13 – Beach Tour.
Day 14 – Hotel – Zanzibar Airport.
Departing from hotel and drive back to Zanzibar Airport, Tribal Travel Safari will transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for departure. End of our services.
